Specialist in Young Adult Transitions, Identity Restoration, & Action-Oriented Therapy

The transition from adolescence into adulthood is one of the most volatile chapters of a person’s life. To the outside world, you are supposed to be figuring it out. But internally, you are drowning in a paralysis of high-functioning anxiety, chronic self-doubt, and the exhausting weight of social and academic pressure. You feel disconnected from your voice, stuck in a cycle of people-pleasing, or completely untethered as you try to navigate career, relationship, and lifestyle choices.

Traditional talk therapy that keeps you trapped inside a sterile office, over-analyzing your anxiety, can sometimes make you feel even more stuck. You don't need a passive therapist to nod along. You need a transition strategist.

I specialize exclusively in helping adolescents, college students, and young adults navigate the intense, high-stakes pressure of identity formation and life transitions. I provide a highly active, forward-moving clinical container designed to break through the paralysis of anxiety, rebuild your unshakeable self-worth, and help you step confidently into your future.

Movement Meets Metamorphosis: Somatic & Cognitive Strategy

My approach is highly collaborative, dynamic, and focused on real-world momentum. I bridge the gap between deep emotional insight and practical execution using gold-standard behavioral frameworks (CBT and ACT).

To match the unique energy required for true transition work, I specialize in Walk-and-Talk Therapy. By stepping out of the traditional office setting and moving side-by-side in nature, we take the physical and psychological pressure off. Movement lowers nervous system defense mechanisms, allowing us to process anxiety, overcome cognitive loops, and unlock personal insights much faster than traditional sitting therapy allows.

Whether we are working in the office or moving outdoors, our focus remains on hard targets:

  • Dismantling the Perfectionism Loop: Breaking through the academic, career, and social anxieties that keep you frozen in a fear of failure.

  • Identity & Values Alignment: Stripping away who you thought you had to be for everyone else, so you can discover who you actually are.

  • Tactical Coping Mechanics: Building a concrete, everyday toolkit to manage overwhelming emotions and set boundaries that protect your peace.

The transition doesn’t have to break you. It’s time to find your footing and start moving forward.

Meet Gabrielle

While our clinical work targets foundational identity and anxiety blocks, it is delivered in a radically genuine, relatable, and human space. I believe therapy should be a space where you can drop the performance, bring the raw truth of your mess, and use real human connection and a necessary dose of humor to figure things out together.

When I’m not partnering with clients at Holly Counseling, you can find me recharging my own battery by working out, exploring new local food spots, traveling, or spending high-quality time with my boyfriend and our very spoiled dog daughter.

  • Clinical Specialties: Emerging Adult & Collegiate Life Transitions, High-Functioning Anxiety & Perfectionism, Somatic Walk-and-Talk Therapy.

  • Advanced Frameworks: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

  • Credentials: Master of Education in Counselor Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Augusta University). Associate Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor. Under the clinical supervision of Kimberly Cutright, LPC, CPCS.
