she/her/hers
Welcome — I’m glad you’re here.
My name is Lauren, and I specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate some of the most challenging and transformative seasons of their lives. My work is grounded in a humanistic, trauma‑informed approach, honoring each person’s inherent worth, resilience, and capacity for growth. I strive to understand the whole individual, their experiences, strengths, identity, and hopes, rather than reducing them to a diagnosis or a single moment in time.
As a Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist and Certified Addiction Counselor, I bring both clinical expertise and a deep respect for the unique needs of young people. I incorporate evidence‑based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma‑Focused CBT (TF‑CBT) to support clients in building emotional insight, strengthening coping skills, and developing healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.
I am also deeply knowledgeable and affirming of the LGBTQIA+ community, and I work to create a space where young people of all identities feel seen, respected, and supported. Whether someone is working through anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, school or family stress, substance use concerns, or simply trying to make sense of who they’re becoming, therapy offers a place to slow down, breathe, and grow.
My goal is to create a collaborative, supportive environment where young people feel heard, validated, and empowered to move forward with clarity and confidence.
