Ashlyn Ware, M.A.

Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Pre-Licensed Professional
(she/her/hers)

A therapist dedicated to helping women heal from trauma and reconnect with their sense of self. My work centers around creating a safe, affirming space where you can explore your story, make sense of your experiences, and build a life that feels more grounded, empowered, and authentic.

I work primarily with women navigating trauma, anxiety, and relationship/family challenges. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in old patterns, often managing overwhelming emotions, people-pleasing, or struggling to find their voice. Together, we slow things down, explore the “why” behind these patterns, and work toward lasting change.

My approach integrates psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused techniques, allowing us to explore your past while staying rooted in the present and building practical tools for the future. I believe healing happens through both insight and action—understanding your story and learning new ways to live it.

My mission extends beyond alleviating symptoms. I aim to help women cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves and reclaim a sense of agency in life. I’m passionate about providing a gender-affirming and neurodivergent-affirming space, where all identities and experiences are respected and understood. You don’t have to fit a mold here. Come as you are.

Outside the office, I'm spending time with my husband and our trio of energetic dogs. Cooking is my creative outlet. I love trying new recipes and hosting dinners with family and friends! When I'm not making a mess in the kitchen, you can find me reading a fantasy or romance novel, playing board games, or enjoying time in nature.

I am working towards full licensure in the state of Georgia and am under the supervision of Kari Barrett, LPC, CPCS, RPT/S. If you have any questions regarding my licensure process, please feel free to contact me.
